About Clinicians of Color

Founded in 2016 by Lisa R. Savage, LCSW, and Kim L. Knight, MBA, LMHC, Clinicians of Color is a professional community created to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color mental health professionals. Through peer connection, clinical training, and business education, the organization helps clinicians grow their practices and strengthen their work.

Its resources include a public directory connecting people with culturally responsive mental health providers, the Clinicians of Color Online Academy, and a marketplace featuring clinical workbooks, digital tools, and resources created by professionals of color.

The Opportunity

Since 2021, we’ve supported Clinicians of Color’s Instagram presence with thoughtful content that helps make mental health topics accessible and encourages connection with their community.

Our work includes creating educational carousels, reels, quote graphics, and engagement posts, as well as clinician spotlights and promotional content for the Clinicians of Color Marketplace. We shape each piece to feel warm, clear, and supportive while helping the organization share its resources and mission.

Clinicians of Color helps connect BIPOC communities with mental health professionals who understand their culture. Its content needs to make mental health topics accessible, welcoming, and supportive while helping people discover clinicians and resources.

What We Supported

Our Approach

We turn sensitive or complex mental health topics into clear, approachable social content. We use warm, stigma-free language and practical examples to help people feel informed and encouraged, while highlighting clinicians and resources that can support them.

The Result

An ongoing Instagram content presence that helps Clinicians of Color share mental health education, introduce clinicians and resources, and encourage people to seek support when they need it.
